Special Earth Day Event

How to save a mermaid

Celebrate Earth Day at the Museum with this fun and enlightening talk.

At TEDxLANL two years ago, Emma Cohen, with the Environmental Stewardship group, presented a short talk titled “How to save a mermaid.” Focusing on issues such as “microtrash” (think plastic drinking straws) and ways to avoid disposable “dinnerware,” you too can learn how you can save the mermaids by attending this talk. It is scheduled Wednesday, April 19 at 2 p.m. in the Museum’s auditorium.

Seating is limited and will be first come, first serve.
